At the end of last year, the Government-led Online Advertising Taskforce released an action plan laying out how it would address two key harms: illegal advertising (such as scam ads) and the inappropriate exposure of children to adverts for products and services that are illegal to sell to them.

It’s now down to the industry - led by taskforce members the AA, IAB, IPA and ISBA - to deliver.
